Matthew was appointed in 2016 as the overseer on our farm regenerative farm project to “investigate an integrated … agricultural system … that will explore and demonstrate a best practice agriculture that is successful, abundant, regenerative to the ecosystem, and inspirational to conventional agriculture” This is an ongoing project which Matthew leads, together with an inspiring group of agriculturalist cohorts. We have found Matthew to be diligent competent and wise beyond his years. He has a flair for teaching and sharing which comes from the generosity of his being. He has been beyond methodical, is personable and has a great sense of humour. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with him.
I found the workshop to be valuable and very inspiring. The facilitators know what they’re talking about and the workshop was nicely balanced between theory and practical application. I also met amazing people!
It was so great to learn from Matthew and Sean who are so passionate about growing food and using the land in a sustainable and exciting way. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills so openly with the group. The course was relaxed, organised and stimulating. I came away feeling inspired and cannot wait to use the tools and ideas the workshop has given me.
I recently attended a Permaculture weekend hosted by Matthew Koehorst of Six Kingdoms (and Sean Spender). The course consisted of a theory and a practical component and was both enjoyable and informative.
Matthew has a knack for bringing together interesting people that feed off each other’s energy and make for an inspiring experience.
I left with some great new connections and valuable knowledge with which to build my own Permaculture garden, and would definitely attend another Six Kingdoms workshop.
Thanks so much for hosting such a great workshop. I love your no-nonsense approach to permaculture, it is always a pleasure to learn from you. Beautiful setting, lovely people, nice energy, I’m looking forward to the next one.
